Photorealistic sculpture is as rare as they come, but when someone actually comes down to making one, the results are damn impressive. Webdesigner Depot takes a look at “hyperrealists”, sculptors who create photorealistic sculptures right down to the rashes on the skin.
The results are simply amazing. Some of the artists featured are Ron Mueck, Sam Jinks and Jamie Salmon.
Some of the sculptures are downright disturbing while others fall into the uncanny valley. But all of them are awesome in the truest sense of the word.
